Ruhna vas is a small settlement on the left bank of the river Krka in the Škocjan municipality in southeastern Slovenia. The area is part of the historical region of Lower Carniola. The municipality is now included in the Southeast Slovenia statistical region.[2]
The Emona to Neviodunum Roman road ran through the area and contemporary finds show evidence of a settlement near the road.[3]
